Dinner, Drinks, and Donations!

July has been an exciting month here at Humble Crew!  Instead of a virtual happy hour and charity event, we were finally able to gather in person for our summer company dinner.  It was our first time being together since March of 2020, and for a lot of us it was our first time meeting new colleagues face to face!

At dinner, we got to celebrate our wonderful coworker Chelsea’s upcoming wedding.  We surprised her with a couple gifts and even some champagne for a proper toast.  Of course, no bridal festivities are complete without matching “Bride Tribe” temporary tattoos—luckily, our team was happy to oblige some pink sparkly adornments for the night.

Our dinner took place at Axia in Tenafly and we enjoyed an assortment of delicious Greek dishes.  Everyone wore white and we played a fun game of “secret missions” (read: pranks) throughout the evening.  Everyone had a great time reconnecting in person, and we can’t wait to do it again!

We also have a lot of exciting new product launches on the horizon.  Our team has spent the last few months assembling and photographing samples to get ready for launch.  For this month’s charity contribution, we thought it would be great to make a difference in our community by donating these fun new products to a good cause.

We decided to donate these samples to the Center for Hope and Safety here in New Jersey.  They are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims and survivors of domestic violence, as well as their children.  Their mission is to turn fear into safety, helplessness into strength, and isolation into hope.  The Center provides services and tools to empower families to safely escape violence and start new beginnings.

The Center for Hope and Safety was gracious enough to come and collect some of those brand-new tables and chairs sets, organizers, bookracks, desks, and ottomans to give to families in need under their care.  We are so happy to be able to support the important work being done at the Center for Hope and Safety through this donation.  We hope all the families enjoy their new products and that it helps brighten their homes as they build themselves a hopeful and safe future.
